I speciailize in helping professionals with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, and relationship issues, develop the mindset and skills they need to transform their lives. I spent 10 years at Emory Healthcare and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center developing a psychotherapy method known as Future-Directed Therapy that specifically identifies self-limiting beliefs people have about their futures and teaches strategies based on psychological science for how to overcome them. As a result of framing therapy through the lens of a better future, people find it highly motivating to change thier lives in ways that have been awe-inspiring.

Even successful smart people have difficulty creating true change in their lives because they have very little understanding of how to create new experiences, and they are trapped in default mode often recreating the past without even realizing it.

I specialize in utilizing well researched methods of cognitive therapy to help my patients identify the blindspots in their thinking and behavior so they can break out of the patterns that aren’t working, and instead do something more effective.

When you have the tools and skills you need, moving forward doesn’t seem so difficult.

As a psychologist for more than 15 years, I have served in numerous leadership roles in hospitals across the county, including as the  director of the Outpatient Psychotherapy Programs at both Emory Healthcare in Atlanta, GA, and Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, CA.

I am a featured expert for the magazine Psychology Today and I have over 2 decades of experience helping clients regain their emotional well-being.

I received my undergraduate degree in psychology at UCLA and my doctorate degree at Fordham University in New York City, and I completed my postdoctoral training in clinical research at Columbia University.
