New Client Consultation
(Please read carefully)
Therapy is not a one size fits all model. If you are interested in working with me I will conduct a 15 minute consultation session with you, at no charge, to determine if I am the right type of psychologist to help with your specific needs.
In order to make the most of this brief consultation and to assist me in understanding your needs, once you have scheduled a consultation time, a brief on-line questionnaire will be sent to you via the patient portal asking you to answer a few questions about your reason for seeking a consultation and some information about treatment history and possible symptoms you may currently be having.
If after the consultation I determine that there are other psychologists who are better suited to help you, I will provide you with links to resources in your state that can help you find a therapist that may be able to better assist you, though I cannot guarantee the quality of services of any other mental health provider.
While there is no charge for the 15 minute consultation, you will be asked to provide your credit card information to hold the consultation time. If you change your mind and decide not to keep the consultation, you simply need to send an email via the contact page or cancel the appointment through the patient portal 24 hours before the consultation. If you do not cancel your appointment 24 hours in advance, you will be charged a $25 late cancellation fee.
If you would like to schedule a longer consultation time you can, in advance, request additional time after the first 15 minutes, that will be billed in 15 minute increments at the standard hourly rate of $225 per hour.
If you are ready to schedule your session please go to the patient portal by clicking on the “schedule” button below and then click on the blue “New Client” button to see the open time slots that are available. Please note, I do not schedule appointments more than 2 weeks in advance. If you do not see a time slot that is convenient for you please check back the following week or send an email via the contact page to request an alternate time.
